Format:
Class meets twice a week. It is a Live Video Classroom via Zoom. This class runs all year, with different topics each week, and you can enroll any time of the year! Different topics are taught every week such as naming feelings, family, and sports just to name a few. Each week there will be two classes. In the first class, I will be introducing vocabulary words (8- 10 words). We will learn words and practice enunciation, learn meanings and put them into practice. And in the second class of the week, we will review our vocabulary words, practice using them in a sentence and lastly play games for more practice. I’ve created games and flashcards that are unique to our class. Some of the games and websites we will use are Gimkit, Blooket, Kahoot, Quizlet and YouTube. Each class will be delivered through colorful slides with lots of visual aids, interactive activities, songs, stories, and educational games that are fun and age appropriate.
